1993-1999
The first phase of our vital ministry to women in crisis pregnancies began in 1993 as a mobile outreach in the communities of Okeechobee, Port St. Lucie, Indiantown and Fort Pierce. Our 40 foot Winnebago and its guides, Cliff and Jane Beckett set out in their ministry on wheels with a message of love, truth and compassion to women facing unexpected pregnancies. During nearly 7 years on the road, Jane and Cliff touched the hearts of thousands of women and offered them free pregnancy testing, crisis counseling and help with material needs.
1999 - PRESENT
In 1999, God orchestrated the purchase of our current home - directly across the street from the only abortion clinic in the four surrounding counties of St.Lucie, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee. In 2009, we established a satellite center in Stuart, merely a half-mile from the local Planned Parenthood. Our strategic locations enable us to serve as an oasis of hope to the thousands of women who pass through our doors each year. MISSION
The Pregnancy Care Center is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to serving those who are in a crisis pregnancy, as well as educating the community on the sanctity of life, marriage and family.
Services of the PCC will be offered at no cost and shall include but not be limited to:
pregnancy tests
options counseling
ultrasounds
material assistance
comprehensive referrals
parenting education
abstinence education
post-abortion counseling
